All three plans run on Nginx, and you pick the PHP version yourself up to 8.4 — switch it back if an older application needs it. The SSL certificate is free and renews on its own.
Mailboxes on your own domain and a daily backup come with the plan rather than as an add-on. What changes between Starter, Professional and Enterprise is disk space, the number of mailboxes and how many sites you can host.

The disk is Gen4 NVMe in RAID and sits inside the server itself. There is no network storage layer between your database and the platter, which is what usually shows up as slow queries on cheap shared hosting.
