How many mailboxes you actually need
Mail 5 suits a small team where each person needs one address, plus a couple of shared ones like info@ or billing@.
Mail 25 is the plan for a business that keeps adding people and wants room to do so without thinking about it. Mail Unlimited is for organisations that would rather not count at all — a mailbox per department, per branch, per role.
Webmail and IMAP, on every plan
Every mailbox is reachable through webmail in the browser and through IMAP in Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or the mail app on your phone. Because messages stay on the server, the same folders appear on every device you use.
Spam filtering and virus scanning run before delivery on all three plans, so obvious junk and infected attachments never reach the inbox.
Moving from an existing provider
Your domain's MX record decides where incoming mail goes. Create the mailboxes here first, send a test message, and only then point the record across — that way nothing arrives at an address that does not exist yet.
Old messages can be copied over with IMAP from the previous mailbox, which keeps your archive and folder structure intact.

Yes. Every plan is built around mailboxes on your own domain, such as name@yourcompany.com. You add the domain, set the DNS records for mail, and then create as many mailboxes as your plan allows.

Mail 5 includes 5 mailboxes, Mail 25 includes 25, and Mail Unlimited sets no cap. You can move up to a larger plan later without changing your addresses.

Yes. Mailboxes support IMAP, so they can be set up in Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird and the built-in mail apps on iOS and Android. Webmail in the browser is included as well.
