What 4 GB actually runs
Four gigabytes is the usual starting point for a server people come back to every evening. A Vanilla or Paper world with roughly ten concurrent players sits comfortably here, as does a moderate plugin stack — permissions, economy, land claims, a map renderer.
Lighter modpacks work too if you keep view distance sensible. Large kitchen-sink packs or a much bigger player count are better served by the 8 GB or 12 GB plan, and nothing stops you moving up later.
The panel and the disk
The server runs on NVMe storage, which shows up most when a world is generating chunks or when you restart after swapping a plugin jar. Everything else happens in the panel: live console, file manager, game settings and player management.
You change the server version, upload mods and edit configuration files yourself. No ticket, no waiting.
Billing and getting started
There is no setup fee and no contract. You pick a billing period at checkout and can take the seven-day unconditional refund if the plan turns out to be the wrong size.
Deployment typically finishes in under 60 seconds, so you can be connecting to the server address while your friends are still loading the launcher.
-
Around ten concurrent players is a realistic figure for a Vanilla or Paper server. Heavy plugin lists, large view distances or mods reduce that; a lean setup can take more.
-
Yes. The panel gives you a file manager and a live console, so you can upload plugin or mod files, edit configuration and restart the server yourself at any time.
-
Small and medium modpacks run on 4 GB with a modest view distance and player count. Large kitchen-sink packs need 8 GB or more, and you can move to a bigger plan without a contract penalty.
-
Provisioning normally takes less than 60 seconds after checkout. You then get panel access with console, file manager and all game settings.
